What a great getaway for my husband and I to reconnect. We have three very small children and needed the time away. We stayed overnight and were served the most delicious dinner and breakfast!!! Totally five star service and dinning!!! My husband and I have eaten at The Inn At Little Washington a few times and we thought the food was just the same at the Foster House.

The rooms were perfect with the little [faux] fireplaces, beautiful decor and beautiful bathrooms!! It's perfect!!!!

We totally recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone, you'll love it! We'd love to go back every month if we could.

At first site we knew this was the place to spend a few quiet days relaxing. John enthusiastically met us at the door and welcomed us into his home. After a short introduction to the layout, meals, etc. we were shown to our room. How charming, warm and inviting. While we brought our bags in, which John so graciously offered to carry but we declined, John offered drinks of our choice and we began our relaxation. The rest of our stay followed suit. The little extras made quite a difference - bed turn downs with chocolate and info about the next day's weather, spa cloths in the bathroom, complementary wine, beer and port, etc. but the genuine friendliness of our hosts, John and Diane, is what made the stay the best experience ever. Oh, and let's not forget the breakfasts. John is an accomplished chef and his food shows his heart and soul. We can not wait to return.

We enjoyed a simply perfect stay with John and Diane. The rooms were lovely, from the ornate wooden post bed to the quaint stove to the surprisingly well-appointed bathrooms. And the breakfast - wow, I thought our dinner the previous night at Little Washington was the only amazing intricate multicourse menu on our schedule but breakfast was of the same ilk. On top of everything, John and Diane go out of their way to make your stay special - and I'm not just saying that because we got engaged the night before. If you're looking for a friendly yet classy place a short walk from Little Washington and in the heart of VA wine country, this is it.

We stayed here almost a year ago to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and have been meaning to leave a positive review. Everything previously mentioned here is true - GREAT breakfast (my husband enjoyed it more than the dinner at the Inn), professional and warm hosts, nice and comfy rooms,... We plan to come back here and do the Tour D' Epicure. I like it that there are a lot of sitting spaces - outside with an expansive view, in the sitting area that has the help-yourself port, the room with the tv, computer, and reading material. When we booked the room, it was too early to make reservations for The Inn. No worries, Diane put it in her calendar and said she'd put in the reservation for us as soon as we get into the reservation period (30 days prior?). It is evident that this couple set this B&B with your comfort in mind. The adorable lab Stella, through either training or invisible fence, will only stay a distance from the adirondack chairs so that you are free to either admire Stella from your chair, or go into her zone and play catch. The Pearsons have a cutie infant/toddler (who was introduced during breakfast), but we never heard a peep from that child throughout our stay - how do they do it?
