Called to make my reservation for 4 nights. The girl I spoke with on the phone was rude to say the least. Most places I call to book are nice (isnt that customer service?) but this girl seemed like she didnt want to talk to me or answer any of my questions. A buddy of mine said the rooms were okay but forgot to mention about the service. When I checked into the hotel I made mention of how "rude" the person was on the phone when I made my reservation. Low and behold the gal checkning me in said "Well I was the one that made your reservation" in a very snotty way.
When I got to my room I tried to turn on the TV with the remote, no batteries. I called down to see if someone could fix this when they get a chance. Once again the gal helped me, "Our maintenance guy is busy but I will make sure he gets up there."
3 days into my stay, 6 calls (4 of which were to the same gal)later the batteries were still not replaced. I travel alot and understand that hotels get busy, but when you tell someone youre going to do it, well then get it DONE! This gal is a bad representation of this hotel. The hotel itself is average, but before this issue this was my hotel of choice. Oh and when I checked out, guess who was at the front desk....my favorite hotel worker. I let her know in a very nice way that my TV was never fixed and she said "Well they said it was fixed did you try it?" Seriuosly.....I have now been staying at the newly remodeled Red Lion and trust me this is the way to go. Holiday Inn Express Manager do something with this gal before she drives your business away. I believe her name started with an M.
