Stayed hear for one night prior to the Thanksgiving holiday. This was our second stay at this hotel. The hotel is located along the Yakima River. In fact all of the rooms face the river. There is a regional trail running past the hotel. The hotel is located just off the interstate. There is Burger King between the hotel and sister property. Across the street are car dealerships and a Wal-Mart. Dowtown Yakima is about 5 minutes drive with several good dining choices. The hotel features standard rooms and larger suites. There is an indoor pool/hot tub/exercise room. An evening snack is provided in a nice room off the lobby. The evening snack on our night was a taco bar. Nothing fancy but decent. There is also a bar located in this room. In the past coupons were provided for two free drinks (pop, wine or beer). This has changed and soft drinks are free but a beer or wine is 50 cents with a limit of four drinks per person. This same room provides a hot breakfast in the morning consisting of scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, cereal, fruit, bread, coffee, juice and pastries. Our room was a suite with refer and microwave. Two doors could be slid closed to create two separate rooms with one room the king beb/bathroom and the other a sofa and desk. Both areas have 25 inch tvs. Internet is wi-fi throughout the hotel. They do have a business center with a printer. There is also small conference rooms and a guest laundry. This hotel is generally more than other hotels in the Yakima Area. However, the amenities and location make it a nice value.
