I travel constantly with my job and stay at hotels and motels across a 7 state area. I have stayed at 4 and 5 star rated and also at the lower end. This particular hotel has a long way to go up to achieve the lowest rating.
I made my reservation directly to the property over the phone. That took 17 minutes because the desk clerk could not type, which should have been my first clue but...
When I arrived, I was skeptical because of first appearance. They always tell you to go with your instinct but I was tired from working all night long so ...
I asked for a quiet room because I work nights and sleep during the day and was told they could accommodate. The room that I was given I do not believe it had been cleaned in months as there was a layer of dust over all the furniture, and by the way, the furniture was broken and unsafe to sit in or dirty enough to not want to sit in it! I am also a diabetic so I carry my insulin with me all the time. I always ask for a room with a refrigerator for this reason. You guessed it! The refrigerator was filthy inside. Previous occupants apparently had things leak inside of it and it had never been cleaned, but that is not the worst of it. Apparently by occupying the room, I awoke the ants that started scammering about on the floors and walls. That was the straw that broke the camels back. I took my belongings out of the room back into my vehicle, drove to the front desk and left, all of this within an hour of checking in!
I strongly do not recommend this hotel to anyone unless you like giving your hard earned money up for a rat's nest.
