Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights during a business trip to Fairmont. I am a Diamond member with Hilton so when I have a choice I will drive the extra 15 miles. The hotel is definately worth the drive. The staff was friendly, the fitness room was well equipped with more space than some of them have available. The hotel spaces and the room were clean. Being next to the Burger King, Wal-Mart, and BP caught my attention as odd as someone already mentioned, but the BK is very convenient for those who don't have the points or want the free breakfast, $9.95 is rather high if paying. The choice for the hotel to be at this location was clearly connected to the shopping and restaurants that are very near by and the easy access to I-79. Boomerang's, Texas Road House, KFC, and Stone Creek Creamery are the restaurants I remember, but there were others too. Great stay I will return when possible.

Visited on business for three days. This is a new property opened in Nov 07. The facility is wonderful yet the setting is curious. Next to a Burger King, A Wal-Mart and a BP station - looks like they wanted to be on Emily Drive which is a shopping corridor that has evey retail flavor you could imagine. Restaurants are the usual chains. Once in the hotel you're in the Garden Inn style. The King Suite has a walk in shower which is a nice change and a comfortable (really) bed. The furniture is upscale and there's a flat panel TV - refrig and microwave. I'm spoiled by the Hampton Inn breakfast - theirs is a 9.95 buffet which I passed on and ate in the room (thanks to the nearby Kroger...) If you want a great setting for your Clarksburg stay consider the WinGate just up the road a few miles - spectacular view! But the HGI is also a fine location for your business/stop-over as well.

We were pleasantly surprised by this property. Everything was clean and new. The only downside was our room overlooked the Burger King drive-thru window. Our son enjoyed the pool and the free internet access was a plus. Before the Hilton, we stayed at Sheraton on Lodgeville Rd. It was never as nice as the Hilton. After our great experience here we vowed to never to return to the Sheraton.

We spent three wonderful nights at the Hilton Garden Inn during the Christmas holiday. The Inn had just opened and everything was lovely. The Christmas decorations were beautiful. Our king room was huge and nicely appointed. Nice linens and towels. Since we stayed three night a made to order breakfast was included in our room rate. Fresh cut fruit , eggs, etc and bowls of fresh fruit everywhere. Excellent Value.
