We recently returned from a 2 week stay in Florida.We had no complaints
about the Hotel going down. We stayed at the Amerisuites in Ronanoke
Va. The rooms were great.
Before we left I went on the internet and booked our reservations. When I went to martinsburg West Va they listed travelodge Martinsburg. It sounded very nice. It listed a Heated indoor Pool and Jaquzzi. With 5 kids that sounded nice. There was also listed a bar and restaraunt .
When we arrived we followed the directions from the internet and found no travelodge but a sign that said quality inn. Set way at the bottom of the hill was the property with no sign on the building that told us what it was..We recognized it fornn the picture of the printout from the computer. We went in and asked if it was the right place and were told yes that Quality inn took it over. Needless to say the pool was broken the rooms were dirty and smelled and I had to call maintance to spray the bathroon because of all the ants.There was no resturant which meant after driving 12 hours with 5 kids and 5 adults we had to find a place to eat.
The woman working there said it has not had a bar or resturant for about 5 years which I think is very misleading when making reservations on the internet. It should be updated so people know what they are getting into.
I have been trying to find a number for quailty Inn so I can talk to them but I have had no luck so far
So anyone traveling in that area do yourself a favor and passby the Quality Inn. It was not worth the 74.00 that was paid.
