We travel to Morgantown frequently and always try and stay at this hotel, or Waterfront Place as a second choice. At the end of Morgantown's "main street", you can walk to a number of nice restaurants and the local shopping scene. Our favorite restaurant is Cafe Bacchus, just across the street. The hotel also has downtown parking, a precious commodity. The hotel is historic and charming, but not a place if you want all modern. Tip- always book the rooms with the sofa, they are larger. Rooms have a minifridge and micowave, which is nice.
