Although the hotel itself is a fine property, customer service is certainly not a top priority. I called to make reservations for a block of 20 rooms for my wedding. I worked with the assistant GM, Pat, on at least 2 occasions in February 2007 to do so. I called in June 2007 to ensure there were enough rooms for my family only to find that there was no such reservations. My family had no rooms for my wedding. Sad. If you are looking for a hotel that will pay attention to small details such as customer service & your satisfaction, I'd stay at one of the other hotels in the Shepherdstown area.
