The Thomas Shepherd Inn was everything I expected and more! This is the only Inn in Shepherdstown, & the only one they need. The Inn is located in a college town that has specialty shops, historic & cultural interests, & offers a variety of outdoor activities. Our room was tastefully decorated, clean & comfortable; the breakfast was excellent.
The flower garden is featured in the Back Alleys Tour that highlights local gardens. The innkeepers are so hospitabe, that we felt like we were visiting old friends. We plan to return there often!!!

We found the Thomas Shepherd Inn to be the perfect getaway weekend. The atmosphere is comfortable and homey, and the owners do a great job of attending to the needs of the guests. The food was exceptional-fresh ingredients, great baked goods--we enjoyed every bite. We will be back!
