This booking was cancelled with the help of my booking customer service. I wanted to make sure that no one else made a mistake like I did at booking this place. We did, at first, check in. The desk staff was initally very friendly but after we were told that we would be placed in their older units because it was the place they allowed pets (which we had), we were okay with it at first - until we actually LOOKED in them. It was VERY dirty. There was even "hair" where it shouldn't have been any. It wasn't pet hair associated either. They even gave us less than what we booked - one room only had 1 bed (we requested 2 rooms with 2 beds), no balcony (wich we requested), and the rooms were to be "deluxe" . Nothing about the rooms were deluxed. Anyways, we wanted to cancel our stay after being there 5 minutes and went to the front desk. They gave us the hardest time cancelling. Even said we were trying to cheat him somehow - I already paid BEFORE I went into the room. Gave us the biggest hassel saying we needed to get a cancellation number from my booking company. The biggest thing I want to make everyone aware of is that they are showing the better of the 2 buildings and they did say that building was better, but wouldn't put us in there because of the pets. That's fine IF I was told when I CALLED to confirm in person that this might be the case when we arrived BEFORE I booked. I've stayed in similar types of hotels that allow pets and some that I would consider 4-5 stars and I have NEVER seen a place like this. Entirely disgusting! Makes me wonder how much better the "newer" building is kept if our rooms are any indications...
