If you're looking for a basic motel with reasonable rates in Door County, the Somerset Inn is for you. My friend and I just spent a weekend there. Our immaculate room had 2 comfy queen beds. Every corner of this room was clean! The water pressure wasn't the best and the bathroom was a little tight, but the wonderful fluffy towels made up for this. These towels were better than those at many upscale hotels I've stayed at. My friend and I agreed that we'd go back and we'd recommend this motel to others.

Decided to try this place and we were not disappointed. Stayed in a Honeymoon Suite with double whirlpool, frig, wet bar, microwave. The only thing I didn't like about the room layout was that all of those things were in the main living area, even though the bedroom was separate. The owners were pleasant and accommodating. premises immaculate and nicely decorated. All rooms have either one of two queen beds. It has both an outdoor pool and indoor pool and hot tub. Quiet location between downtown Ephraim & downtown Sister Bay. Gift shops to walk to if shopping is your thing, but driving to restaurants is a must.

This is a place on our list to stay at again - however we would go later in the season - early June (before the crowds) and after Labor Day. Found 1/3 of the restaurants and activities still closed until Memorial Day.
