My son and I stayed at this hotel for two nights while we were visiting the OshKosh airshow. The hotel is about twenty minutes south of oshkosh and worked well for us in terms of location as we came up from Ohio. Because it was the week of the airshow the nightly rate was about four times what it would normally be. The hotel is easy to spot from the freeway exit, though you have to access it from roads that run behind it. We had a standard room, not a suite, and it was pretty standard in size. The room was moderately clean (there was hair on the bath floor and on the tub surround), and though it was a non-smoking room it had a faint odor of smoke. The walls are thin or poorly insulated and we awoke the second morning to the couple in the next room fighting. The lobby is modest in size and has a very small "alcove" of sorts off of the lobby where they provide a modest breakfast (mini-muffins, toaster waffles, bananas, single-serve cereals, juice and coffee). Aside from a couple of small tables set up in the lobby, there really is no place to eat other than to take it back to your room. Both evening that we stayed they provided fresh-baked cookies around check-in time which were a great treat. There are a number of average restaurants located within two miles - we went to Applebees one night and Fazzoli's the next - both of which were pretty decent, and pretty convenient. Overall it was a pretty mediocre hotel, worth the regular rate, not worth the premium that you have to pay during the airshow.
