I made reservations for this hotel through hotwire. It was $154.00/night and to be honest I don't see it justified. Upon arrival, the front desk attendant was not knowledgable of how to check me in. I asked where the restaraunt or bar was so that I could get a bite to eat. He then informed me that they did not have either and that if I wanted I could walk to the adjacent hotel and visit their bar or I could walk to a restaraunt that "just 7 or 8 blocks away". The hallways were blazing hot and smelly. The carpet looked like it was original from when the hotel was built. Once in the room, that is when the scale tipped and I was like you have got to be kidding me. An extremely noisy wall AC unit with cardboard on the sides of it. The room smelled musty, the tube tv was smaller than my laptop. I suppose I was glad it was at least a color tv based on what I had seen already. And the bathroom was disgusting. The sink and the shelf above it were falling off the wall. Apparently gobbs of glue that they used to keep it on the wall wasn't holding. The toilet came with an arm rest, the handle to flush the toilet. The shower head was at my chin and I'm 5'5". Housekeeping did a terrible job cleaning the room, as well.
