If staying in Sturgeon Bay, the location is very convenient. Ample parking and close to boutique shopping and a few taverns for a pre or post dinner drink.
Unfortunately, we will not return. The best part of our entire experience was the wine and the bread. The appetizer felt like it was a home ec assignment. My chicken dish sounded wonderful on paper, but failed to deliver. It was dry and tasteless. I am not an accomplished cook (at all!), but could make better chicken any day of the week. My husband had a pasta dish and it tasted like it was a mass produced frozen dish that was thawed and heated up.
Additionally, we had to battle flies - in late October. At one point we were giggling because there were three flies sitting on our so-called white tablecloth experience.
We went across the street for a drink after and wish we had opted for their local dive, open flame burgers instead.
