“Enjoyable miniature golf course. The other parts - not so much...”
Timber falls has two parts; 1 - a miniature golf park that has several 18 hole golf courses of various difficulty levels and 2- an amusement park section with a roller coaster, bumper boats, log flume ride.
Positive - the miniature golf course is well maintained. It is on the opposite side of the street from the amusement rides and is located under beautiful trees. It provides excellent shade on a hot day and is picturesque. It has some inventive holes, and our family enjoyed this part and would recommend it to anyone looking for some relaxing mini-golf.
Negative - the amusement part of this attraction is lame. The roller coaster is fair - it jerks you around quite a bit. The log flume is just OK. The bumper boats are aggravatingly slow - they barely move.
Timber Falls needs to provide an easier way to cross the busy street between the two sides of the park. There is no clear pedestrian crossing and it's a bit of a concern when travelling with children. We bought a combo pass which allowed us to use both sections of the park. If I had to do it over again, I would just purchase the mini-golf in the shaded area - it's quite nice, and I would skip the amusement section. That part is unimpressive and your money would be better spent elsewhere.
