A bunch of girlfriends and I went to the resort for one night for a mini spring break. We arrived at the resort at 3:30. We were able to registar but were unable to get our keys because they were still cleaning our room. We were told to come back at 4. when we came back at 4 we proceeded to wait in line for ONE HOUR to just get our keys. We we finally got to our room at 5, we decided we would go to the water park for the rest of the evening. Little did we know it would only take us about half an hour to go on all the slides and around the lazy river. After this we went back to our room to hang out. Later that night when we were about to go to sleep, we realized we did not have a king sized bed like we were suppose to. Also the extra blanket that was in the room for the pull-out couch had holes in it the size of softballs. We had seven girls in one of the studio sweets. When we booked our room, we were told we would have one king, one queen, and a pull-out couch. Well we had two queens and a pull-out couch. Not enough room to sleep 7 adults. We called the front desk and told the manager our problem and he proceeded to argue on the phone with us that we had a king size bed. He finally asked if we would like housekeeping to come down and measure the bed. We said sure in hopes that something would be done. When housekeeping arrived they agreed that it was a QUEEN. We called the manager again to let him know and we asked if we could have a fold-away at no charge since we were lied to about having a king, he told us that they had none left. Then the manager said he was going to send the maintenance men down to measure the bed. When they came they too said it was only a queen because the room was a handicap room. We never asked for a handicap room and apparently when you book a room at the hotel they dont know which room is a handicap room. The maintenance men then asked us if we would like a fold-away bed for the night and we told them the manager said there were none left. They proceeded to tell us that they could go down to a different hotel they owned and get one. So to top the night off we found out the mananger had lied to us not once but twice. We did not get to bed until 2:30 in the morning because of all this hassle. In the morning we went to the front desk and told them the problem from the night before. When we were there we overheard another man who had also had problems in the hotel. We demanded that we get some of our money back seeing as we paid $300 for the night and didnt even get what we were suppose to. They gave us $20, not even enough to buy breakfast. I do not reccommend this hotel to anyone for any reason. The customer service is TERRIBLE, and the place is dirty. The springs in the mattress on the pull-out couch were sticking out of the material, and our rat hole blanket hardly kept us warm. DISGUSTING!

My family and I went to Wisconsin because we were looking into a timeshare. We paid additional money so that we could stay in this hotel instead of just a standard motel. Being that it was November, we were well aware of the fact that most attractions would be closed, which was why we went for this. We figured our son would enjoy the indoor waterpark and arcade. What they don't tell you is that even the indoor waterpark is closed Monday-Thursday and then it is only open at 3pm until 8pm. The regular pool is open of course and it is small and extremely dirty. Even the indoor arcade didn't open until 11am and closed at 8. We had to check in on Thursday, nothing open. Friday we had plans and then we had to check out Saturday morning. We drove 11 hours for this!! On top of the, the room was dirty!! Something had been spilled in the A/C-furnace unit, the linens were filthy, the beds were hard as rocks. We tried to order a movie since there wasn't anything else to do and found out the system had been taken done weeks prior and hadn't been fixed yet. The staff was extremely unhelpful. I am disabled and there is only ONE working elevator. Nobody offered to help with luggage or anything. The only elevator is located at the middle of the hotel so it's a very long walk to your room or anything else. Since I am not able to do stairs, it was very difficult for me to get around there. Also, the prices are outragious. My husband went to buy a soda out of the machine.....$3.00 for a 200oz bottle of Coke!! We did buy our timeshare, so we will be back to the Dells, but I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

We have been to WI Dells with and without our children many times during both the summer and the winter. (We live 2 1/2 hours away and it is a nice little getaway location that we take advantage of) We have stayed at this resort a few times, but this was the first time in the summer. The hotel rooms are nicely sized, with fridge and mircrowave- they were in fine condition for the amount of time that you spend in your room.

This park has something for everyone- roller coasters, go karts, water slides, wave pools, mini golf, etc.
We only stayed one night on this trip- but were able to get two full days of parks for "free" included with the price of one night's hotel room. (That is quite a value for a family of 4!) We arrived around noon and were given wrist bands for the park right away which we took advantage of. Also- when you check out for the day- you are able to stay and play that day as well. If you look at the cost of the room and what it would cost for two full days of park admission for 4 people- we figure our room was basically free.

There were long lines to check in and out at the front desk area but they moved fast- I don't think we waited more than 5 minutes ever. The buildings need some renovation, but you find that at most resorts in WI Dells b/c everyone is constantly remodeling/renovating.

As for the restaurants at this park/hotel, I don't think that they have the best selections. We usually take a picnic with us and take advantage of some of the great restaurants that WI Dells has to offer. (Pizza Pub and Mexicali Rose are two of our faves!) We eat a quick snack or sandwich in our room, take advantage of the park until we have had our fill, then go out for dinner to relax instead of paying almost the same amount of money on generic concession stand items.

Overall- I think this hotel and park are a good value. If you are looking for a nicer resort, there are tons to choose from! (Wilderness is great, as is the Kalahari and Great Wolf. Polynesian is a good value for families with small kids also)

Enjoy your time in WI Dells!

Okay, so to start off with, these are not luxury resort rooms. They are basic hotel rooms, nicely sized, with fridge and mircrowave. But lets face it, if you are staying here, you are here to use the water park and not sit in your hotel room! And basically this park has something for everyone, from huge roller coasters to go karts to water slides to the coolest wave pool we have ever been to, the new Posidens Rage. If you play it right, you CAN get some value for your dollar. The rates run about 200-300 a night for a regular room. But what they dont really advertise is the fact that you cannot check into your room until 4:00, but you CAN get registered and get your water park wrist bands as early as 10:00 the day of your check in. Then you have to check out by 11:00 the next day, BUT you can use the park until closing (10:00 p.m. in summer) if you so choose. So if you do it right, you can get two days for the price of one, which is what we did. We arrived about noon and--a nice surprise--our room was ready. Our kids ( 15 and 17) never got bored and in fact, didnt get to ride all they wanted to in the time we were there, not because of lines, which were moderate, but because there was so much to choose from! Now to address some of the complaints from previous posters: We did have to wait in line to check in, it took about 20 minutes total, and the people at the desk were very nice. We got our wrist bands and we gave them to our kids to put on, nobody said we had to bring our kids in to get the bands put on by the staff(another nice feature, you can put money onto the wrist bands so if your kids are wandering around the park, they can get food/drinks/souveniers without having to come find you, and if the kids dont use all the $$, you get refunded). We found it kind of odd that they have 5 or 6 regular desks that the staff sit at instead of a traditional "front desk" but it seemed to work. Parking can be tight, but we managed to find something pretty close every time we left and came back. The walk to the park entrance was negligible from the hotel...there are two entrances and both appreared to be an easy walk from any area of the resort buildings. There WERE a lot of staff who were from Greece (I asked one of them) and they did speak in Greek to each other from time to time....so what? I think if I was in Greece and found another English speaker, thats what we would speak! None of them ever feigned to not understand English, and while not overly friendly (I put that down to cultural differences) they were unfailingly polite whenever we talked to them. The rides were well staffed and any problems were dealt with promptly. The food prices are high ($6.50 or so for a gyro and $3.00 for a soda) but what do you expect at a place like this? Bring your own food and drinks if you want to save money, thats what we did. All in all, this was an awesome place for our teens and we had fun too. I would recommend it to anyone who intends to spend the majority of their time in the park. If you want great room service and really awesome room amenities, this is not the place for you. I plan to take my son and one of his friends back here next year.

Going to a waterpark in Wisconsin Dells isn't about the hotel accommodations, it's about the waterpark. In that regard, Treasure Island delivers an acceptable experience. The hotel was fine, but not memorable.

The kids in our group didn't tire of the water attractions, and we had a wide variety of ages that were pleased.

Part of the park was under construction. I believe that what was a zero depth wading pool was being converted into interior spaces. Walking through that space to get from the hotel to the waterpark was not the greatest, but it wasn't dangerous, and there wasn't any dirt or noise that made it unpleasant.

In addition to the waterpark, there was a small indoor amusement park. The kids had a good time and it provided a nice distraction from the water-based activities.
