We were running late due to road closures of Lake Delton. Staff were really nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and indoor pool was great. The outdoor pool did have some leaves but it was just starting to get windy.
I would come back again and again.

I stayed at the New Concord Inn this past weekend. I wasn't expecting anything great because it is only a one star hotel, surprisingly we pulled up and the place looked pretty decent from the outside. We checked in and got up to our room, again I was plesantly surprised, it was very clean and we had a big flat screen tv. For the most part the staff was helpful but unfortunately our second day at the hotel the area was hit with severe weather, there were two tornado warnings and a flash flood warning. This was the only problem with the hotel! When everyone was scrambling trying to figure out what to do, we all asked the gentleman at the front desk and he had no idea what procedures to follow, he claimed there wasn't a basement and instructed all of us to sit in the glass window surrounded lobby. Later on I noticed, throughout the hotel there was not one diagram in the hallways, rooms, or lobby stating what to do in an emergency, which ways to escape in the event there was a fire or where to go for a tornado. Overall it was an okay place to stay if your going to be out and about a lot but just pray there isn't severe weather during your stay!!!!

A great place to stay with the family. The kids enjoyed the fun indoor pool and slides and for younger kids there was a great island-themed waterplay area. We relaxed and enjoyed ourselves in the indoor whirlpool. It is nice to keep an eye on your family without having to chase them all over the place. The hotel is very clean. There was complimentary coffee and tea all day long. The staff was very helpful to us.The outdoor pool is in a quiet spot away from the road and surrounded by Cyprus pines. There are romantic whirlpool rooms that we think we will stay in next time - when we come (without the kids).

What a great little place! This is an inexpensive, family run establishment that has a cozy atmosphere. The rooms are meticulously clean and the staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. Our little ones just loved the indoor pool area and slides, while it was easy for us to keep an eye on them... didn't have to worry about losing them at one of the big resorts. :) Services are minimal, but this is a budget destination and what you get for the price is just outstanding. With gas prices the way they are, I myself am looking for bargains. That being said, if you want a whole lot of bells and whistles, 24 hour room service, a big on location waterpark, then go somewhere else. But be prepared to spend a couple hundred a night at the minimum. You could stay here and then buy day passes to those areas, coming out ahead.
