My friend and I went to Cedar Lodge based on the website we researched. We are both in our mid 20s so staying at a waterpark didn't really suit us. We stayed in the 2 bedroom condo and it was amazing. It had a 50 inch tv in the front room along with 2 other plasmas in each of the bedroom. The nicest thing about this place other than the views was quick commute to downtown (10minutes). The staff was really nice and checking in and out was a breeze. It was nice to have your own room and not have people running up and down the halls. I would definetly recommend this place for someone who is tired of dealing with all the crowds at the bigger waterpark hotels.

We stayed at Cedar lodge at the end of July. We were impressed by how clean the units were. Amazing views over looking the Wisconsin river. The unit looked excactly like the pictures on the website. It was not deceiving like the burger commercials. There is a processing fee in addition to the room rate. Which we did read on the website prior to making the reservation. The place was full and it was quiet and peacefull the whole time. Loved the Bon fire. We were within minutes of all the local attractions. Service was friendly and the weather was perfect. We will be back again. Highly recommend Cedar Lodge and Settlement.

We just called to make reservations. There is a counterintuitive cancellation policy that Cedar Lodge uses. Beware! If you cancel more than 14 days prior to your stay, you lose 25% of your deposit—even if they re-rent the unit. If you cancel within 14 days and they do not re-rent, you lose 100% of your deposit. If they do re-rent, you get your total deposit back. Does it make sense to penalize people for canceling more than 14 days out?

Also they have a hefty $39.00 processing fee that is NOT disclosed on their website.

Too many questionable business practices for our comfort!

My family, husband, daughters - 2yrs & 10m, went on a short trip the WI Dells for Memorial Day weekend 2005. The lodge is close enough to the "mess" of the Dells (2min) attractions but feels like a totally different world. The lodge is in the peaceful woods on Lake Delton.

We stayed in a Riverview Suite which was HUGE! There was enough room to pull one of the matresses straight off the bed onto the floor for our 2yr old, set-up the pack-n-play for the baby, their toys, and still walk around easily in the room. The kitchen was clean and a major plus with two small kids. It also has the feel of a log cabin with logs on the walls & ceiling.

The lodge also has a pool, playground, picnic area, and a bon fire everynight.

The suite is a look through meaning sliding glass door looking out onto the parking lot and an opposite sliding glass door looking out onto the Lake. The only bad thing with this set up is that the bathroom was right next to the sliding glass door to the parking lot and the curtain didn't wrap around enough. If you didn't close the bathroom door you could easily look out of the sliding glass door even with the curtain drawn.

Even so the accomodations, peaceful environment, staff, location couldn't be beat, especially for the price $145 per night!
