We booked this hotel through hotels.com and selected this hotel for few reasons, price, location and indoor pool that was advertised on website.

I guess you get what you pay for...absolutely nothing. It was so disgusting that we considered sleeping in our SUV instead. Upon arrival we learned that there was NO pool, but that we would have to walk/drive back through town to another hotel if we wanted to swim. Then the shock came when we saw the actual room. It was soooo old and run down. The gross part was the left overs in the fridge, not sure how long they'd been there. The air conditioner was a plug in unit in the bathroom, the beds were so old and stained that we were sure we'd catch some disease from sleeping in them.

I've stayed in some bad places, but this was the worst. We're way upset that Hotels.com advertised ammenities that were not true. We were going to stay an extra day, but couldn't stand the thought of staying there any longer then possible.

Stayed here for a short ski trip. The place is a dump. The furnishings, telephones, pretty much everything in the rooms are obviously from other bancrupt hotels. The blanket on the bed had a HUGE stain so disgusting that we had to have housekeeping change it. I could go on...but why bother. Yes, it's cheap. No , it's not worth it.

We booked this as part of an Expedia package, selecting from among lowest-cost lodging - figuring we would spend very little time in our rooms. The motel is somehow associated with the Best Western Lodge at Jackson Hole (where we previously stayed, and enjoyed a great deal), and guests at the Pioneer can use the pool/spa at BW Lodge. When we arrived at 2 p.m., we could not check in. There was no one in the motel office, and a note on the door said someone would be on duty at 3 p.m.
When we came back more than an hour later, still no one around, so we went to the BW. They reached someone by cell phone, and so we drove back. Finally, someone showed up, but she was very unpleasant, stating that she wasn't supposed to be the one working. We never saw anyone in the office again during the 4 nights/days that we stayed here. No one ever picked up the phone either. One of our rooms had a leak in the sink, which we fixed by putting the trash can under it. Despite heavy snowfall during our stay, the sidewalks were never shoveled (I did it myself when I noticed a garden shovel outside one of the units), and the parking lot was never plowed! Lighting in the rooms was dismal - couldn't read at night. Next time - will go back to the BW Lodge.
