My wife and I spent three nights at the Teapot Cottage in October 2007. This is a great old cottage that has been lovingly refurbished and decorated by the owners. The cottage has two bedrooms (though the second only has a small twin bed for a child), a large living room, a bathroom, kitchen and storage room with washer & dryer, water cooler, etc. There is a hot tub and lovely garden surrounding the cottage. There is an alarm system that one can choose to use (or not). The cottage is very quiet with virtually no traffic or other noise. The cottage is filled with books, magazines, an HD flat screen TV with loads of DVDs and VHS tapes. It is a very comfortable place to hang out, particularly on a rainy day (it rains frequently in Volcano). The cottage is located a short distance from the general stores and the few restaurants in the small town of Volcano. One of the real highlights is the fantastic breakfast that appears magically every day. The owners stock (stuff) the fridge and counters with fruit, yogurt, bagels, eggs, banana breads, cookies, scones, cereals and lots of other things. Everyday something new is prepared and left for breakfast, making it a little hard to sleep (I love a good breakfast). I strongly recommend this cottage to anyone who spends a day or more in the Volcano area.
