I was told by the Hyatt (where we stayed on vacation) that Keoki's Paradise was one of the best restaurants on the island (other than at the Hyatt...of course). We had over a 45 minute wait when we were told it would be around 15-20 minutes. I think that they forgot about us because many tables were sat before us that had just came in the door. The server was preoccupied and not very helpful. We asked for the bread ASAP because we were hungry with a 14 month baby. He forgot and then when we reminded him he said they were coming. This again was another 10 minutes. Salads were thrown together in a rush (at least they appeared that way). Food wasn't that great. I had the Mahi Mahi and my husband had the seared Ahi. We had a terrible experience although I do see some more positive reviews.

The decor is lovely, outdoor yet inside so you can enjoy Kauai's beauty. I had the fish tacos, and they were delicious and well-priced.

It's an ok place. Basic menu. Different from the hotel's food. But that's what it has going for it. I ate here a few times while in Poipu and each time there was something wrong with my order. Nothing big but little things, missing ketchup for the fries, sauce for the sandwich. I'm sure you can find better, but you could do worse.

Step into this restaurant and be surprised by the extravagant indoor/
outdoor setting. We had a table tucked into an unexpected corner, next to a stream and waterfall, under a thatched roof. The food turned out just as good as the setting. Reservations are recommended,
it's very busy. Parking was difficult; the lot and even valet fills up quickly; we had to park on the street.
