We came on a invitation to visit and listen to a time-share presentation...so the value was very good. The property was nice and the rooms were roomy.....but the layout was not friendly (hallway mazes, awkward room designs, etc.) General service from the grounds staff was warm and welcoming. The restaurant on site was excellent.
But the housekeeping was deplorable. When we arrived, there was only one bar of soap to use between the vanity and shower; and no shampoo, lotions, etc. (We thought that that was standard since it was a timeshare.) After inquiring at the front desk, they said that there should have been a full complement of sundries. We also noticed that there were french fries on the floor next to the sofa.....obviously missed by housekeeping. In addition, the furniture on the lanai were dusty and never cleaned. After reporting this to the management, they cleaned the entire unit, but the results were only slightly better.....this was a true disappointment for a Westin property.
Also, on check out, we were charged for a phone call that we did not make (we have our own cell phones). The call was apparently made by someone on the housekeeping staff.
