we stayed in the motel, it's certainly not fancy but it had all that we needed. the kitchenette was great for making breakfast (but no oven). tv was small but worked fine. everything looked like it was from the 70s but it was clean, quiet and a great deal. we would stay here again, it's a great budget spot. grounds are nice as well, it's about 4 miles from downtown bar harbor.

I stayed for 2 nights with my family and friend's family. The owner of the property had ensured everything is available in the cottage and we had a pleasant stay. The locality of the cottage is excellent since it is very close to Acadia National Park. Since we had 2 little ones accompanying us we were thrilled with the water body that was very close to the cottage that we stayed. Overall a very good quality stay for the price that we paid. Will surely stay here again if we visit Bar Harbor and would also recommend to our friends.

We travel around the country as our Vacation destination. This year was Bar harbor. we found the Eden Village by doing a web search of cottages. It was a pleasant suprise when we found this hidden treasure. Its a few miles(5 or 6) from "bar harbor" which we found to be perfect. Great restaruants are in each direction and Robin Sue (one of the owners) was the best information source we found for the local food and area attractions. The Cottage was very very clean (it even passes the white socks test) which was very comforting the pond is right outside your door. It made me feel like i was going home every day after out adventures in town or on the sea. We even cooked meals which kept some cash in my pocket. I have been telling anyone who asks or anyone who will listen about this great little at home feeling cottage. I higly recommend the Eden Village Motel and Cottage. Sal

We stayed in one of the motel units for four nights in August. Eden Village is located on the main Highway leading into Bar Harbor. The Motel units are toward the back of the property and look out onto sort of a field/wooded area in the back. It was very quiet. The room had two double beds, table and chairs, a recliner, a kitchen with stove, microwave, and refg. The bathroom was small with a shower. Note the coffee maker takes those little plastic cups and these were not consistently replaced each day. The decor is very basic but adequate- not new. The owners were very helpful and made great recommendations for places to eat and information about parking.
