Our rented apartment was near Mama's. It was on our list of places to eat. Just a note that they are closed on Monday, so we went on Tuesday. The line up outside wasn't too bad. We waited about 10 minutes. When you go in, you don't get a table, but rather are at a counter to order your food. Once you place your order, then you are shown to your table. We ordered the silver dollar pancakes, a smoothie and an omelet. Our total cost was $30. Our friends each ordered the crab omelets and their breakfast was $60. So there is a great range of prices for breakfast.
The food was good. I loved the fruit and syrup with my pancakes. The smoothie was very fruity. Even though the place is packed and busy, you don't really feel like you are rushed to get out. While we enjoyed the experience and the food was good, I don't think I would keep going back because of the lines and the variety of other places to eat.
