Very nice budget hotel right off Tunnel Road in Asheville. Close to downtown, the mall and easy to access. Nice indoor pool and outdoor sundeck. The staff was very friendly. Beds were nice and bathrooms clean.

The check in process was smooth and the lobby was small but clean and neat.
The room was on the second floor. They use a generous amount of Febreeze. Once the air got going, it improved the stuffiness of the room. All amenities were standard hotel issue.
One concern about housekeeping - linens were not changed the one night I was there and dirty coffee cups and water glasses were not removed and replaced. Towels were changed, but one of my fresh towels had a red stain on it ... I don't want to know what it was.
For the price, I would have expected something nicer.
Also , be warned if you stay in the winter, the access road to the hotel is extremely steep and treacherous in icy condition. Warning signs are posted, but it is the only way in or out.

Standard order Courtyard. No surprises but boring in my opinion. I guess the no surprises is why we stay here though?
Be warned: the beds are worn out and uncomfortable. I complained and got sort of a shrug that they were all like that. I learned they were due for new ones in a few months. I ended my stay a bit early due to this. I am moving next door to another Marriott property to sleep better....I hope.
Location is good for a traveler. Near interstate, mall, downtown, tourist attractions and food. Carabbas is next door. Location is a real plus.
Well, My husband and I planned a weekend getaway to Asheville but were too late to book a Bed and Breakfast like we wanted to. The only decent hotel room we could find was in the Courtyard. I have never stayed in the Courtyard before so I don't know how it compares. However, I do think that it was very pleasant. We got there at night and so it was convenient that there was a restaurant still open a few steps from the hotel. The room itself was very neat and comfortable. Every morning we had a complimentary full breakfast in the dining area. Even this area was kept neat and clean and the breakfast was pretty good (the biscuits with sausage gravy were yummy!). All in all there were no hassles or issues with this place. Very decent indeed.

We stayed here for one night we booked the room with points, but were very disappointed...the room smelled of smoke although it was supposed to be a non smoking room. We were very tired after driving for 12 hours so didnt bother to complain, The beds were rather soft, room decor was rather dingy....but clean overall. The hallways and stairwells smelled musty and old....front desk staff was kind and effecient. Overall proprty needs a little refurbishment...nothing like other courtyards we have stayed at previously...has a carraba's restaurant right next door which proves to be very convenient. Also has a breakfast for 7 dollars, we did not eat there but seemed to be a good value.
