Had a wonderful time at Pinecrest. Jan, Jim, and Stacy's hospitality was second to none. From the time we made our reservations to check out, they made every effort to make our stay wonderful. I even emailed them the night before we came to town and asked for a dozen roses to be in the room for my wife. No problem, they were there with the exact message on the card, to boot. The house is clean, really clean! the sunroom was perfect for coffee in the morning, small talk and we even watched The Open Championship. The food was great! Especially the spinach quiche and all of the great homeade baked goods that were available throughout the day and night, (chocolate chip cookies, lemon pound cake, and chocolate cake). One thing we did appreciate is the parking is right out in front of the house, so it's easy to access your vehicle. Needless to say, we'll be back!!

Our only regret about staying at the Pinecrest B & B was that we did not have more time. We frequently stay at B & B's as we prefer them to Hotels and certainly to Motels. We also have served as innkeepers when owners are vacationing so we are aware and alert to detail. The atmosphere of Pinecrest is friendly, homey and comfortably social. Attention to detail rates very high. The sheets are ironed and you have to expierience that to appreciate it. Everything from the assistance with local reservations and sites to the mint on the pillow at night with turn-down was superb. The home is convenient to the Biltmore, which is the attraction in Ashville and the location is walkable to downtown. We always appreciate this after a long day in the car. Breakfast was over the top! It was served to all guests at one sitting and was complete from fruit compote to a speciality egg dish. We would strongly recommend Pinecrest to travelers looking for a special B & B experience.

A friend and I had the pleasure of staying at the Pinecrest B&B in lovely Asheville, NC. This is a small, family run operation on a quiet side street, just outside of the downtown area. The owners could not have been more gracious, offering recommendations or assistance, but not being intrusive. The property was very well maintained and clean. They offer a variety of rooms, including the one we stayed in that had twin beds and a large bathroom. My friend and I remarked that it would be a lovely place to visit with our husbands. The breakfast served in the morning varied day to day and included a home-baked sweet bread, fruit, warm entree and a breakfast meat (and of course juice, coffee/tea) - the meals were delicious! Additionally they offer home-baked treats in the afternoon/evenings and a courtesy refrigerator stocked with soft drinks, water and tea making area. If you are planning a visit to Asheville, check out the Pinecrest - you will be really very pleased!

Very gracious hostess. Had to cancel reservation 6 hrs prior to arrival. Owner stated she would have to charge us for our full stay, per policy, but she would be happy to send us a gift certificate for for the full amount, which we could use in the future. This was awesome customer service!!! The owner was not obligated to send us a gift certificate, she was just kind & accomadating.She understood that I had the flu & was unable to make the flight, she understood our incredible disappoinment & she went out of her way to be compassionate & made things just that much more tolerable. When I get to Ashville I will stay at The Pinecrest for my entire visit. I have to believe that if the Inn is as WARM & LOVELY as its owner we will have a memorable time. It is difficult to find customer service these days, but if you stay at the Pinecrest you will have to look no further.
