“Charming house and hosts”

Asheville Seasons Bed and Breakfast

7 Jan 2008

We stayed at the Asheville Seasons b & b the day after Christmas. It was a lovely, relaxing stay. We booked the Winter room and were completely and totally satisfied with it. The room was large with a large window, the gas fireplace was the perfect touch and the bed was absolutely comfortable. On top of that, it wasn't your usuall stuffy b & b. The linens were modern both in appearance and color scheme and the antiques were tastefully done.

The breakfasts each morning were so delicious filling. The welcome drink in our room when we got there was the perfect first step in relaxation.

Tag and Ginger were both so sincere and so nice.

We look forward to staying there again in the future.

My Husband and I stayed here for 2 nights while celebrating my birthday by visiting Ashville and touring the Biltmore. We arrived late on Friday night and Tom and Ginger were most accommodating and pleasant. We felt right at home. My in-laws joined us at the Inn for the second night and enjoyed the stay at much as we did. The house is beautifully decorated and the fireplaces in both of our rooms (Autumn and Spring) were wonderful. Beds were very comfortable and breakfast was absolutely gourmet. Off street parking was very nice as well. This is an old house so the water takes a while to warm up, but that's part of the fun. It's was a great experience and we were thankful for the quite time. We truly got to enjoy the inn without being crowed by other guests. Tom and Ginger did an outstanding job restoring this old home and we hope to stay again sometime.

We enjoyed a two night stay while we toured Biltmore House.

The Autumn Room was delightful....roomy and comfy. The bathroom was huge and the garden tub a very comfortable place to end the day with a glass of wine. The gaslight fire was a romantic addition to the perfect room.

Tag and Ginger were great hosts and very helpful in every way. Breakfast was five star!

“Lovely place and people but quiet!!!”

Asheville Seasons Bed and Breakfast

25 Nov 2007

We stayed here on Oct. 15-16, 2007. Tom and Ginger were very friendly and the late Victorian house was very nice. It only has a few guest rooms (four?). The Autumn room we stayed in was very big and clean and I've never seen a bigger bed - you almost needed a ladder to get into it. It was very comfortable and everything in the the en-suite bathroom worked fine. Tom gave us a LARGE key to the room and also to the outside door. He also said to help ourselves to sodas and cakes or biscuits in the dining room fridge, which was a nice touch.

A couple of points that could be negatives, depending on what you are looking for:

1) The unusual cooked breakfast was fine for my wife but there was no choice, although Tom did russle up some cereal when I said I don't eat cooked breakfasts.
2) There are no TVs so all you can do in the evening when you get in is read or go to bed!
3) Because of the this, the house is deathly quiet and you can hear every movement and the resulting creaks and I was almost afraid to go to the toilet in case I farted and the whole house heard! (Sorry to be crude).
4) The wardrobe had only no rail or hangers and just three hooks.

In summary this was a very friendly but very quiet place.
