After seeing the rates at the Grove Park Inn and the Inn at Biltmore I switched gears and started looking for B&Bs...Based on amenities and TripAdvisor reviews we selected the Hill House and couldn't have been more pleased! We chose the Flat Iron Suite and were pleasantly surprised with the size of the room and sitting area - it was perfect for relaxing during the day and peaceful slumber at night. The breakfasts were delicious and the Bottomless Cookie Jar, treat of the day and fresh lemonade were especially thoughtful - perfect for a quick snack before a great dinner downtown. We'll definitely be back!

My wife and I stayed here after pouring over all the other options on the net and AAA tour books and couldn't have been more pleased. Bill and Terry were excellent hosts; friendly, always available but never "hovering," as we've experienced elsewhere. The neighborhood seemed safe enough and the rooms, gardens, and front porch were great. We'd go back there again in a heartbeat.

Best bed and breakfast we have stayed at yet. Wonderful full breakfast served on the large outdoor patio, overlooking the beautiful garden. Coffe and fresh pasties available before breakfast. Evening snack, tea or wine available - cookies are yummy!!
Each day a different breakfast and snack. Just the little touches to make you feel welcome. Hospitality suited our personality - we prefer
to keep to ourselves. Bill and Terry were very welcoming and friendly. Very clean and relaxing. Spent 2 nights in the S & W room.
Very close to Biltmore and Downtown. Looking forward to a return trip
in the future.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights recently and loved every minute of it! We felt instantly at home. Bill, Terry, and Bailey have a lovely place that instantly draws you in and makes you want to stay a while. We stayed in the S&W room, which over looked the garden. The bed was amazingly comfy, the bed and bath linens were super soft and clean, and I loved the natural bath products. Of course, I did over indulge in the cookies and other afternoon treats, but I couldn't resist! The gardens were so relaxing, especially with a glass of wine in early evening. :-) Bill and Terry were so helpful and gladly provided restaurant suggestions and answered questions on area attractions. The breakfasts were tasty and certainly started each day on a positive note. We would most certainly recommend this place to friends and family and hope to return in the not too distant future!
