Staying at this Inn provides true romance and wonderful hospitality. Staying here is one of the smartest things you could do in Asheville.

This Inn is nestled in a residential area, so its very quiet and away from all the hustle and bustle of the city.

My husband and I came to Asheville for the first time in Oct 2005 to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I chose A Hill House because it looked beautiful on the website and they had great rates. I have to say - this place went above and beyond my expectations.

I fell in love with this quaint house and the hospitality was tremendous. The breakfasts on the wrap around porch were amazing and the food was absolutely delicious (I still crave the Crème Brule French Toast that they served).

The bottomless cookie jar is still in my memory (what a novel idea!) and the Vino Therapy was wonderful.

Everything here is high end and if you are smart enough to book your stay here, its something you won't quite forget!

As soon as I'm able to come back down to Asheville for a visit, I will most definitely stay at A Hill House.

We just returned from a quick weekend get away at the Hill House in Asheville. First let me say that after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor we decided to book a room at the Hill House instead of another B&B. The reviews were true to form and it is a wonderful place. From the time we arrived as Bill showed us around and made us feel at home almost immediately. My wife and I appreciated the fact that Bill and Terry were around "enough" but not so much that it was annoying...they seemed to know how much interaction with each guest was appropriate and we appreciate that so much. I must say the breakfast each morning was great, creme brullee french toast and quiche...got your morning off to a great start. The room was exactly like the picture on the website, it was wonderful and the bed was very comfy. The only bad part of the trip was we only spent 5 minutes or so with Bailey...after those 5 minutes we could have spent the rest of the day with him....Bailey is a wonderful dog and we really appreciated him letting us rub his tummy! Thanks Bill and Terry, we will be back soon!

We arrived on a rainy afternoon and were greeted warmly by Bill with a hot beverage or a glass of wine. He gave us a tour and showed us our room (beautifully decorated, cozy and stellar). Breakfast was family style which gave us a chance to chat with our neighbors. The mood was friendly the food was excellent and the coffee dark and delicious. Bil and Terry are wonderful folks who are so willing to help you find the best that Asheville has to offer. Since we left early they gave us a doggie bag of treat for our long drive back to Philly; an example of their kindness and thoughfulness. Stay here and feel relaxed and welcome in their home. We'll be back for sure!!

My girlfriend pleasantly surprised me with New Year's Eve escape to Asheville, NC to see the Biltmore Estate during the Christmas season. This B&B was breathtaking the moment I saw it. We were greeted promptly at the door and with a glass of Cabernet! Our room was immaculate and charming: fireplace, jacuzzi, canopy bed. On New Year's Eve we popped open our complimentary champagne! Bill and Terry even gave us heart shaped scones with a little note to send us on our way, since we couldn't stay for the 9am breakfast. I will definitely be returning and I will recommend it to anyone! Thanks Bill and Terry.... We miss it there already
