Our third visit to Hill House B and B proved to be the same delightful experience as our two previous visits. Out of the many charming B's and B's we have visited, from Santa Fe to Quebec, Hill House provides the whole package.
They say never try to re-live the same moment twice. Well, Hill House proved that cliche to be incorrect. We awoke both mornings to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee before meandering out to the wrap around porch for a delicious breakfast of fresh fruit and creme brulee french toast.
Thanks again Hill House for two perfect days of rest, relaxation and great company!

We spent our honeymoon in Asheville at the Hill House and it was a wonderful experience. Bill and Terry are fabulous innkeepers - the house was immaculate, the food delicious, and the grounds are spectacular. We stayed in the Biltmore room which faces downtown Asheville and has windows on three sides of the house. The room is beautiful, comfortable, and very private. The bathroom is large and elegant with a great jacuzzi tub, but it lacks a shower other than a pull-out spray nozzle in the tub; this was the only slight inconvenience that we experienced, otherwise everything was great. The location is convenient to almost everything in the area, and the house is in a nice neighborhood without heavy traffic. We have stayed in several B&B's in Asheville and this is among the best.

We loved our stay at the Hill House. The owners are gracious and seemed to always appear when we had a question or needed something. The breakfasts (we had three) were delicious and presented in an unhurried manner. The room we stayed in was plenty big, very clean, and comfortable. We felt plenty pampered, but also as if we were staying in our own home. The common areas (parlor, porches) are comfortable and inviting and the side yard with a hammock and Adirondack chairs is a perfect place to unwind. We recommend it highly.

I wish I could be as gracious as the majority of reviewers here,however I have to be honest. The experience at this Inn left me feeling underwhelmed! The gardens, and food were excellent.The hospitality was less than warm and cozy.Ashely who checked me in neglected to introduce herself and toured me thru the property as if in a hypnotic state, Bill seemed less than thrilled to meet and greet however Terri was friendly/courteous enough. The room I had was adequate however needed some cosmetic attention to paint and there was an artifical ficus tree with silk leaves that has not been dusted in years.Will not return or recommend.
The best thing is the proximity to downtown Asheville and the wonderful variety of Restaurants....Musts are Limones,Bouchon,Ophelias.
