We had a great stay & I think that this is one of the nicest Holiday Inns that we have ever stayed. Very clean & we traveled with our cat. No problems & I could not tell that a pet had ever been in our room. The pool was very clean & our breakfast was good. (not a free breakfast) but we were not looking for the free eating.
Located within 10 minutes of the Biltmore.
I suggest this hotel to anyone. The rooms had lots of space a fridge & microwave, also a very nice shower.

This was a last minute stay that turned out great. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. We had a 6 month old who had it with being in the car. The desk agent quickly had houskeeping clean a room so that we could check in early. I'll tell you what the beds at this hotel are amazing. Very charming place. Ask for room 312. Great view of the mountains.

My mom and I booked this hotel through Biltmore as part of their Bed and Breakfast package. We couldn't have been more pleased. The staff was extremely friendly, warm and inviting lobby and neat/clean rooms. I enjoyed snagging a couple of homemade cookies each night while getting directions for various locations about Asheville. Convenient to getting to downtown Asheville and Biltmore. A car is a must but directions were easy especially with all the local maps and desk staff to help.
As far as pets, NC looks like a very pet-friendly state from all the hotels who allow pets. We weren't aware of any pets and the few we saw outside doing their business we did not hear them inside.

We were just passing through Asheville with our dog and were very worried about staying at a "pet-friendly" hotel. Well, we couldn't believe how nice this hotel was (for a passing-through hotel) and the "pet room" wasn't different then any other room.... no smell, stains or anything to think a dog has stayed there. The staff was great and we had a lovely dinner at the hotel restaurant (try the parmigiana or lasagna). We will definitely be back with or without our dog. We were pleasantly surprised!
