This HoJo was very close to Biltmore Estate/Village, and there is a TGI Fridays across the street. The staff was extreamly nice and helpful at all times, and the Breakfast at Chatt's in the lobby was wonderful and fast. The rooms are a little outdated, and if you want a microwave you must ask for a room that comes with one. When we booked the room, it said it was going to be two queens, we got a queen/king. Someone set a fire alarm off and we all had to go outside at 9:30pm and it was about 27 degrees. But....that could happen anywere. Overall....it was good for the $ and if you are on a budget like we were than it is good enough. the beds slept good, the place was very clean and you are with in walking distance to Biltmore.

“Poor ammenties”

Howard Johnson Inn Asheville Biltmore

20 Jun 2006

Stayed for three days. Nice pool but was suprised to find no washer or dryer for guest. Also, no computer for customer use. Housekeeping staff very friendly, but hotel staff could use some training on customer service. Access in and out of the hotel onto the main street is lousy and dangerous. With all the other hotels available in the area with better ammenties, I will not stay at this hotel again.

We felt that the location, the comfort of the room, the customer service, and the restaurant on site added up to the best value in the area! We are planning another trip to this same hotel in the fall! Thank you, --- for making it easier to find good accommodations like this!

“big rooms; great price”

Howard Johnson Inn Asheville Biltmore

This HoJo must have been grand in its day. And it's still pretty nice. Have stayed there several times; have learned to ask for a room with a "courtyard" or "pool" view; these rooms are -much- larger (gigantic, actually). While the decor is stuck in the 1980s, everything is still adequate. The hotel is across the street from the Biltmore House entrance and right off of I-40. You get a lot for your money here, especially if you ask for one of the big rooms around the very lovely courtyard/pool.
