First let me start with that I loved the Encore B and B. I went with my boyfriend for our valentine's day weekend, in the middle of the snowstorm. Reinhold was so sweet and accommodating leaving it up to my boyfriend and me if we wanted to come on the day of our weekend or the day after. My boyfriend ended up convincing me to go and I am so happy we did. As soon as we arrived Reinhold was there waiting for us at the door and helped us with our things.

For our first dinner we wanted to go to Masa however Tremont 647 was a five minute walk and much more convenient. Tremont was a great choice, recommended by Reinhold. We were given a complimentary appetizer with a business card called "momos"... They were delicious. The ribs were incredible.

We went to the aquarium and quincy market. The T is very easy to get around but Boston is walking city. It is the best way to take in the city. Saturday night we ate at Masa which was incredible. The ahi tuna steak was delicious and so was there duck. They made a delicious appetizer that was steak quesedilla.

Both restaurants are on Encore's website and a walk from Encore on the same street. Masa was about a 15 minute walk but its a great city.

Encore was very contemporary and had everything that a hotel would have but was just more personal. The rooms were tidied up for you during the day similar to a hotel. Each night you were given a menu for breakfast asking what time you wanted it and what was to be prepared. The yogurt and granola was delicious and so were the muffins. I got that both mornings.

I plan on staying there again. There was absolutely nothing wrong with this place. Perfect for couples!

This bed and breakfast is in a location convenient to many things. You can walk to it from the Back Bay train station and you can walk to many South End restaurants from the B and B. Walk a little further and you can get to Copley and the Prudential Center area. For the money, you will not find a nicer place in Boston. The room and private bathroom were large and spotless. There was even free wireless internet. The best thing about the property is the hosts. Reinhold and David are very welcoming and try to meet all of your needs. The price even includes continental breakfast which is not one of those service buffet breakfasts at the chain hotels.

My stay at Encore bed and breakfast will never fade my memory. I had the most wonderful time at this bed and breakfast owned by two gentlemen, named Reinhold and David.

Encore has 4 clean and colorful rooms available, 2 on the second floor and 2 on the third floor. So those with handicap/stair issues, this may pose a problem. Each room has been carefully decorated in a contemporary fashion with unique accessories. Plenty of windows for the rooms in the back and front, in addition the Albee (were I stayed) has the only porch to walk on.

Every morning Reinhold provides a healthy and filling breakfast and can assist you with questions concerning Boston as well as other countries (he is fluent in French and German). Quite honestly, I found the proprietors of this establishment to be one of the most warm and welcoming compared to the other B&B's I have been to in the nation.

Being located in Boston's South End makes the Encore even more special as you have every modern convenience in walking distance. At last 6 restaurants ranging from a French Bistro to a modern Tavern are within 1 block.

While I was here on business for little over a week, I already have spoken with my wife about making a trip in October. Enjoy the photos.

We spent three nights in Boston at the Encore B&B and absolutely loved it! The location is great for getting around the City and it feels like you are living in Boston instead of staying at an impersonal hotel. The rooms were very classy and clean and the hosts, Reinhold and David, were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were excellent -good coffee and wonderful granola! We will definitely be back again and will recommend it to our family and friends. You won't regret staying at the Encore B&B - it feels like your home away from home.
