As a frequent business traveler to Boston I have stayed in many surrounding hotels and B and Bs. By far Encore is the best the city has to offer. It is 2 blocks from the Prudential center and has access to the public transport. The value for money is unbeatable. I have stayed in all the rooms over the past 9 months and they are exactly as they appear on the internet, so you know what you are getting. They are super clean and the breakfast is fabulous.

Like in many large cities, hotel rooms in Boston are very expensive and small--but Encore provides all the comforts of home at a great price (shop around, you will see).

Having asked about the furnishings because I was so impressed the innkeppers told me that they have stuff from such well known designers as Marcel Breuer, Eilleen Gray, George Nelson, Charles Eames, Eero Saarinen, Philip Starck. Some of these pieces can be found at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

The best thing about Encore are the innkeepers--whether you want that B and B feel of a chatty breakfast and tips about the city or you just want a great place to stay and a quiet breakfast--you can have it. And it is very clean--which is important to me as I have to travel so much.

Overall I give Encore my highest recommendation.

We went there for one day and came back the same week for another day.
Perfectly located in one of Boston's litle victorian house streets in walking distance to the shopping centers, Newbury street or the historical district.
Bedrooms have nice design, bathrooms are ok. Breakfast in the morning is excellent with banana bread, muffins, croissants...

We recommend it to everyone and would certainly return there next time we're in Boston!

This place was ok but definitely doesn't deserve all the hype it gets here. Room was very small and furnishings were average at best. Breakfast was continental and nothing special. The innkeeper was helpful and friendly. The location was not great unless you have a reason to be in the south end.

Excellent ! I would recommend this Bed and Breakfast to everyone. Very, very clean, beautiful furnishings, close to the Hynes Convention Center - just a short 10 minute block through a beautiful neighborhood. The Innkeepers Reinhold and David were very nice and the continental breakfast is one of their best-kept secrets! If in Boston again, I would call on Encore. Fantastic Bed and Breakfast in Boston's South End.

Reinhold and David are the Greatest Host's ~

My partner and I stayed there due to some testing that I was having at the Brigham and Women's Hospital.

BY BEING AT ENCORE ~ Made the trip to Boston a Wonderful Time; Great location and a Nice Home to be allowed to visit and stay.
Just loved the area ~ and Newbury Street so close~ well everything is close to the ENCORE. Note~ the theatre scene was most enjoyable ~ Shopping was great etc.

We will stay with them everytime we are in Boston:
ENCORE IS JUST FANTASTIC PLACE TO STAY WHILE IN BOSTON ~
Reinhold and David are very kind and pleasant people; who make you feel like your at home. They open their home up to you ~ and you are lucky for having the chance to stay at the ENCORE ~ The name somes it up ~ ENCORE! ~ YOU GOT TO GOT BACK! For a visit with Reinhold and David and the Great City of Boston ~ for an ENCORE.
