The J.P. Licks is in a central location to shopping, on Newberry street. Their ice creams are delicious. The kiddie size is quite large and suitable for an adult. It is somewhat pricey for me as I am from a small town in the midwest..but, prices range from 2.99 for a single kiddie scoop in a cone up to $6 for a sundae. I was in Boston less than a week and managed to come here 3 times! I have tried raspberry, and negative chocolate chip which are both very good flavours. It is a nice place to stop for a break if you are sightseeing or shopping. It also has many awards and was listed in our guidebook.

It is also probably fun for kids because there is a teacup chair in the front you can sit in, like the kind from an amusement park ride.

The staff is very nice and you can try flavours before you pick one.
