After driving around Parker Hill Avenue for some time, we stopped at a retirement home to ask where Longwood Guest Suites was. The nice lady at the front desk told me that we had found it--the retirement home WAS the hotel--they rent out their extra rooms. This did not bother us so much; at least it would be quite and safe.
What did bother me however, was the 3-4 inches of water that had flooded the entire first floor and the lobby. I understand that older buildings can have problems, but this was ridiculous. All the furniture and office equipment had been piled up, and there were garbage cans where large chunks of the ceiling had fallen out. When we got up to our room, the heater did not work, and the windows had been painted so many times you could not close them! We were freezing cold all night, not to mention the bed was small and uncomfortable. The room smelled horrible, and the bathroom was not clean (I found hairs in the shower).
In summary, this retirement home is not a hotel, they are many structural problems, and it was a terrible experience.
