The room was very spacious at a very good price. I have 2 queen beds with kitchenette and walk-in closet. This is an ideal hotel for a family with children. One problem I had was that my room was on the first floor so I can hear all the foot steps and the TV from the room above. The location is very nice, close to many restuarants and things to do. Less than 30 seconds walk to the beach! and less than 20 minutes away from downtown.

This hotel was a great deal - great accomodations for a great price. The beds were comfortable (on the firm side, but very supportive), the bathroom was clean and a nice size (our shower was very spacious), and we had a small refrigerator and microwave in a separate closet room. The hotel is within 500 feet of the beach, close to many restaurants/shops/etc. Parking was free. The outdoor pool was heated and appeared clean and in good condition (we didn't use it, just glanced at it).
The only less-than-impressive aspect was the continental breakfast - pastries and juice - but it was still better than nothing! We plan to visit San Diego again and will definitely stay here.

Talk about not judging a book by it’s cover! When we initially pulled up to this place I thought it looked like a beat down motel. It was awkward going into the tiny office to check in and then lugging our baggage down to our room. However, upon entering the room I’d have to say I was very impressed! We stayed on the second floor and we had a mini kitchen, granite counter tops in the kitchen and bathroom, huge beds, vaulted ceilings and tons of living space. Plus, it was a ½ block down from the beach. Unbelievable rates and perfect location. The breakfast was awkward but it was decent enough. I would highly recommend this place!

Lovely room - well decorated, new looking and spacious. On the second floor you get high ceilings that are really nice. Toilets seem to run too long but rooms are nice. Free breakfast is not very good - just mini pastry and juice or coffee. But i would return. Location is good, not far from Starbucks, Grocery Store and restaurants. Rooms look like you are spending more on this hotel than you will.
