Good place to meet some friends for dinner in mid-town if you want a place that has a contemporary flavor and is not pretentious. There are no tablecloths: food is served on individual placemats. The only complaint I have is that the hard surfaces make the room quite noisy. However, service is efficient, the food is not only very tasty but comes in proper-sized (i.e. small) portions, the wine selection is pretty good (had a nice 2005 Rioja "Allende"), and the price quite reasonable for the quality offered. Try not to miss out on their "beignets" for desert - a pleasant and light way to end the meal.
