Our experience staying at this property for three nights was great and we would stay here again on future visits to NYC. Our room was quiet on the 19th floor with a decent view of the Times Square area. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the room was very clean. Our check-in experience was top notch. I wish I remembered the young man's name who checked us in - he was exceptionally friendly and met our room requests without hesitation. During the latter part of our trip we stayed in a hotel between 44th and 45th (up a few blocks and more central to Times Square) and when we compared our experiences, we agreed that we preferred the less congested area of this Four Points property. By all local accounts, the Hells Kitchen area (near this hotel) has some of the best restaurants patronized by locals. I would recommend '44 1/2' which is an easy walk from the property. For craft beers lovers, I would recommend visiting the 'Beer Authority' which is a half block from this hotel. (They have some hard to find Goose Island beers!) Lastly, I would highly recommend you sign up for the "Dozen Apples" Real New York City Tour on your first day in NYC. You can thank me later for that tip =)

Just back from a stay after a mother/daughter weekend in NYC. We were greeted by Sarah at reception who was absolutely incredible. Not only was she kind and friendly but she made us feel very welcomed and important during our entire stay. Rooms were decent size and clean. Hotel is near a large bus station but neither my mom or I felt unsafe at any time. Only a couple blocks from times square and theatres, right by a metro station. Would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting the city.

I decided to stay at the hotel because of it's location as I needed to be in Times Square early in the morning.Unfortunately the standard room was a bit disappointing, especially for the price that was similar to for example Sheraton Hotel and Towers or even one of the W hotels. Overall cleanliness was a bit questionable plus I think the shower cabin with yellow spots on the floor needs either deep cleaning or replacing. Luckily staff were very nice, food was good and the room was quiet, so my overall experience wasn't that bad. I would probably stay again just in a different type of room.

Thanks so much for sharing your comments about your stay. We are sorry that it was not a perfect stay but the feedback is very important to us and only helps us do better. As for the shower floors, we found that their is a manufacturers defect, which caused the yellowing of some of the shower floors. With that said we are getting the floors refinished to further enhance the flooring.

We look forward to seeing you back to experience the changes.

Regards,
Joseph

The hotel is in a great proximity to Time Square-a few blocks--and the lobby is nice. The staff members were very nice and helpful. However, our first room smelled undeniably of moldy, old carpeting with a mix of generous air freshener. We spent four nights there--Aug. 28 through Sept. 1, 2014. After the second night, we had to ask for another room because the bed had what felt like deep dips and was uncomfortable to sleep in. I was sore, so was my travel partner. We didn't have a microwave in our room--would have bee nice so we could re-heat restaurant leftovers. A shame to waste the food. I definitely would suggest to the hotel that management redo the carpeting and padding.

Room tip: As for a room above the fifth floor so that you can have some kind of view--other than the professional buildings nearby. During the weekday mornings, if you open your blinds, they may be able to see you. Makes me laugh to think of all the things they may get to see in a hotel room. LOL

Thanks for taking the time out to complete a review of your stay. We can only improve if we are provided feedback.

I will investigate why your room may have smelled as this is not a normal occurrence.

As for the making the Green Program and bed bugs, I can say we have extensive pest control systems in place to prevent something like this from happening. Also the program mandates that we do a complete refresh of all items in the room every 4th day.

I hope this answers most of the questions you have asked. If you should have any further questions, please reach out to me.

Regards,
Joseph

Getting a comfortable and clean hotel in the middle of Manhattan with a soft heart is difficult and expensive.
I was lucky to get a good deal to spend 3 nights in this new property.
Surprisingly it was new, small, but cozy.
Small reception, small restaurant, small lifts, small rooms, small bathrooms, but at the same time comfortable and cozy.
The restaurant served good food, notable breakfast, and the staffs were not like the typical NY type. They were friendly, accomodating and willing to listen.
Given a chance i will surely go back.
Though not much of a view, if you are in business, you would not want spend time gazing out of the windows.
Rooms were fresh, well equipped and maintained well.

Room tip: go for higher rooms if you need some quiet.
