Was on a 6-mth secondment to New York office, my firm put me up in a studio apartment. The apt was the size of a shoe box though well-decorated, modern with wooden floors and flat screen tv, and small open plan kitchen. My apartment was on top floor but no view but had a huge balcony though never got to use it as Oakwood could not supply furniture. Bathroom was brand new with quality fixtures. The apt was serviced once/ twice a week, towels supplied/ changed regularly, the janitor there, Ramon is excellent, very helpful and friendly guy. 2 washer dryers for resident use are located in utility room, though with 5 dry-cleaners on every street I wonder if anybody do their own laundry in NYC(!) Location is superb, right in the middle of everything, safe neighbourhood (right next to Jolly Hotel so there is always a doorman outside). Good for travelling executives - looks like they have refurbished since from pictures on their website.
