I took my best friend for her Birthday dinner expecting the same great service and experience I had many years ago when
Casa was at its old location. Unfortunately that was not to be the case this time. The waiter seemed disinterested and inattentive from the beginning. The manager, Serina, actually took our order. Then the order came out incorrectly. Ultimately it was rectified, but neither the waiter or the manager came back to check on us. (Our busboy was friendly and tried to make up for the shortfall in service--even though that was obviously not his job.)
Also, the music was extremely loud--to the point of physical discomfort, which made conversation almost impossible without shouting. We asked them to turn it down, and they did for about 5 minutes, but then it was blasting again!
The bellydancer was supposed to perfom at 9:15, but didn't perform until an hour later. We were then asked by the waiter to leave our table because it had been reserved for another party. This was disappointing, because a primary purpose for choosing the restaurant was the entertainment. The waiter said we could "stand at the bar" if we wanted to see the performance. I found that unfair & disconcerting because it wasn't our fault that we had to wait so long for the dancer.
The food was excellent once the order came out correctly--but given the subpar service, I will not return.
