The two of us booked a room on [--] in March 2007. We came to hotel on August 6th in late evening hours and checked in. The room was small, but satisfying. It had a pretty big bathroom, which we wanted in the room and it was clean, with fresh towels every day. Also, the room maid was cleaning the room every morning. The location of the hotel is excellent: 100 meters from Times Square, half a mile to Central Park, a block away from Rockeffeler Center, Broadway is just around the corner, Subway station just down the street, UN building is down the same street, too... The hotel halls were kinda strange and dark, but we didn't mind that at all. They have four computers with high-speed internet access (5 minutes = $1), on one of them you can use sykpe with a voip phone, the bunch of booklets of New York attractions and coupons, and an ATM. The only down side of the whole staying there is that on the checking out we got a receipt that had some balance of $321 on it. We didn't know what that is, but the other day when we returned home, we found out that they overcharged my boyfriend those $321. After he contacted the hotel couple of times, they said that there was some mistake and that they will refund his account with $220 (the rest $100 was a city tax). Other than that, it was really pleasant experience. Next time we will be more careful.
