I called Jameson Suites and explained my concerns about the REVIEWS that have been written about this particular hotel. Carl Smith one of the new property managers assured me that my stay would be without complications and that the reviews are not a reflection of this current business. HE WAS CORRECT !! From the moment I arrived to the last day of check-out I couldnt have asked for better service and hospitality. The staff at Jameson Suites in Little Rock were more than helpful and welcoming. Any time I had a question or needed something they responded quickly without question. Breakfast was awesome and Miss Janice was so polite to make sure that I had everything I needed for a GREAT START to my mornings. Fresh coffee, fresh fruit, and hot eggs and sausage with the morning newspaper made me feel at home. The room was well equipped with all my business travel needs, from wireless internet to a mini-fridge for my late nite snacks. I truly commend the work that has been done to make this Hotel one of top choices in the Little Rock area. Thanks again for an unmatched stay!!!

Upon arrival, we found that the water from the tap was brown; then, in checking the bathtub, we discovered sewage and the same nasty tap water. The gen mgr checked the room and offered another room only to learn that the hotel was sold out, and that all rooms on that side of the hotel had the same problem. There were no other hotel rooms in that price range available since there were several ongoing youth sports tournaments. We had no choice but to stay there; had to go out and purchase bottled water for drinking, hand washing, etc, and then just skip showers.
The gen mgr did not charge us for the first night and promised that we would be refunded 50% of the second night once that was approved by corporate hdqtrs. After many phone calls, only one of which was logged into their system, we have now been told that we will get no money because that property no longer belongs to Amerisuites. A voucher for another stay was offered, but declined, because of their extremely poor guest services. I would never take a chance on Amerisuites again. I wish now that I had reported them to the Board of Health.

Arrived on March 9th 2007. Room was OK until I got up the next morning and found a zip lock bag sticking out between the mattress and box springs. I lifted the mattress and there it is a bottle of "PROERECT" something I think was called viramax and a bottle of visine. Pretty easy to figure the sheets had not been changed. Which means I slept on dirty sheets that someone had been having sex on! Now that is just plain nasty! Contacted the front desk and they gave one night free. I personally think both nights should have been. They did clean the room very well. I will stay at Embassy suites across the street for now on.

My biggest complaint is about Hotwire. The "deal" they provided me with was more expensive than if I'd booked directly. Oh well, live and learn to not trust Hotwire.

This hotel is fine. I really don't know what the complaints are about, unless things have improved since the last review in July 2005. The room was fine. The breakfast was good. The price was under sixty bucks. For Little Rock, which seems to be a "sellers market" as far as hotels/motels go, I haven't found a better bargain.

I admit that it bothersme that I can get a real 4-star hotel through Priceline in a city like Austin TX for the same price as this 2-star Motel, but there don't really seem to be any bargains in Little Rock at all.

After buying into the highly Tripadvisor-rated Rodeway Inn and paying the same price for that place (which was really dirty, see the photos in my Rodeway Inn review) I really can't find any fault with this place. It was clean, relatively inexpensive and had a decent breakfast. Oh, and while it's not far from the Highway, it doesn't have the roar of trucks that they highly-ranked dump of the Rodeway Inn.

For under sixty bucks, I'm not sure there's a better place in Little Rock. But my REAL advice to travellers would be to get out of Little Rock and drive to Hot Springs where nice hotels can be had for less than comperable Little Rock lodging.
