We booked this hotel based on other positive comments that we had read before going. Our experience at this this hotel even exceeded what we had read. It started right from the time when the shuttle driver, Jackie, picked us up at the airport. She was prompt and when we got into the van she offered to take us to a restaurant to get something to eat as our flight arrived around 9:30 pm. She did take us to Arby's so we could get some sandwiches. We had never been offered this kind of service before. Check in was great and Sarah was very friendly.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful as we were staying there to have dental work done in Mexico. The manager Shiela and Mary and Irene, the day time front desk staff, were always so friendly and helpful. Sergio the other shuttle driver and maintenance man drove us to a few shopping malls since we did not have a rental car. The drivers also drove us to a number of restuarants in the area. We had never had that kind of service at any other hotel we had ever stayed at in the past. After we had spent a few days at the hotel we found that there are some good restaurants within walking distance.
We enjoyed the suite as it had everything we needed. A number of the suites had been recently remodelled and we were fortunate to be in one of them. Any maintenance issues were handled quickly. We also enjoyed the happy hour time which they have on Monday to Wednesday. It gave us an opportunity to meet other guests or spend some time getting to know the hotel staff. The breakfast the hotel had available met both of our needs. They had waffles, hash browns, pork sauages, either scambled eggs or omelettes, plus a variety of cereals and yogurt and fruit. Many of these items were appropriate while I was getting my dental work done in Juarez.
Yes, this hotel is close to the airport which makes it walking distance. We did hear some aircraft noise but it didn't bother us anymore than the traffic driving by the hotel. If we travel to El Paso again we definitely would stay at this hotel again.
