I was dissappointed and embarrassed that I suggested this spot for lunch with my mother-in-law, who treated. I have had good coffee here before but had never tried it for lunch. The barista who takes your order, was not very accomodating or informed when I asked if I could get a cup of the soup of the day, she answered we only have a bowl. I was hoping to get a small cup for my 15 month old. Oh well, I ordered the bowl and both my guest and I ordered the Greek Salad from the specail board. When it arrived, it was on one plate for us to share off of, the wrong soup arrived next, when I told the server that we had order the potato leek soup, he seemed very put out. I also noted at this time that we had ordered two salads and that is when we were told that the one plate sitting in front of us was two orders. (We were also charged for two salads) But one plate, glad it wasn't a business lunch with a stranger!! The portion was that of one. It was not filling. The pitas where stale, so I had to ask if there were any softer pitas avaiable. Anyways when the potato soup arrived, it was luke warm and not a color of soup I had seen before. I did not serve this to my child! I think they may heat soup to order. I didn't want to be difficult, so I didn't say anything. We were never asked if everything was ok. It was fairly busy, but I was just so very dissappointed with the whole experience. It is a fun atmosphere with the big wall mirror and decor. The ambience is cozy, the staff just needs to be a bit happier about what they do for a living!! We went elsewhere to have a delightful dessert on the waterfront.
