I spent two delightful days at the Baltimore Art Museum and I can attest to its excellence. I not only enjoyed its terrific Cone Art Collection(Renoir,Matisse,Picasso,Kirschner,John Graham),I also its Old Master paintings very much(Raphael,Master of View of Saint Gudule,Rembrandt,Poussin,Frans Hals,Guardi,Corot,Couture). I also saw its splendid collection of Contemporary Art(Andy Warhol,Alice Neel,Robert Motherwell). In addition,I appreciated early American paintings by Washington Allston,Francis Guy,Benjamin West,and Sully. This museum also has outstanding sculptings by Barye,Epstein,and Calder.Indeed,this museum was a treat located very close to John Hopkins University.

Had read that the Cone Collection was impressive and that is true. Wonderful Matisse, Fauvists, and some Impressionists. Were very helpful to my brother who is handicapped. Provided a new wheelchair we could use during our time at the museum.
