I was extremely disappointed with the miscommunication over the rooms and booking double beds. I booked two rooms via a 3rd party vendor. I requested double beds in both with a rollaway in one since we had 5 people. I even called the hotel directly to verify everything was all set with the double beds and rollaway one month and one week prior. Both times it was indicated it was all set by the hotel staff. Upon arrival we received two rooms each with a King size bed and no rollaway. I called the front desk and they said because the hotel was booked solid they give preferential treatment to customers who book directly through them not 3rd party vendors as I did. I inquired why I was told everything was all set and they said I should not have been told that as it is not their policy. I arranged for us to get rollaway beds and had to be somewhat firm in the fact I should not be charged for them before they finally agreed. It actually took several hours and calls to the front desk throughout the first day until they finally brought beds to our rooms as we agreed upon. Each time they indicated they would be right up. I have booked rooms at many other hotels via 3rd party vendors before and never experienced this type of problem. The Hotel and area itself was nice, but beware if you are trying to get a room with double beds as you might not get what you are expecting, even if you call to confirm.
