Me and my lady stayed at the Hampton Inn on the weekend of March
21-24. This was our second stay and we loved it so much that we are naming our first son Hampton. Just kidding, but the stay was comfortable and, most importantly, the feather top bed was awesome...
This is a key point because by contrast, we were in a suite across the street at the Hilton and their bed felt like it was built on a slab of marble. It literally felt like we were sleeping on a very comfortable, sleeping bag-- on our kitchen floor..
That was the only sticking point but a huge deterrence for our stay at the Hilton. So we switched our reservation midway and went to the Hampton Inn across the street. And you know what, we were told that Hilton employees stayed there all the time.
We even saw an off-duty Hilton employee who had stayed there!
All in all, although the Hampton Inn is owned by the Hilton. Do not stay at the Hilton because of its brand name (My girlfriend calls me a brand name groupie)..
Stay at the Hampton Inn...Believe in the Hampton Inn...
