We were seated immediately. Service was fast and friendly. Place is convenient right in the airport. Food is only ok. Chicken was overdone and salty. Place isn’t dirty but also isn’t spotless.

Met a friend I was traveling with at BWI and we decided to stop here for brunch. We both had breakfast items and they were very good. She had the larger breakfast with eggs, meat, potatoes, toast and I had an omelette. Hers looked great...and she enjoyed. I liked mine as well. The omelette was a flatter version so I didn't like as much, but it was very good. This is a great spot to eat, especially when you have time between flights. Great waitstaff.More
Wonder what the non-delux looks like? One slice of cheese on a grilled sandwich for $10.99? Thank goodness I ordered it with bacon for an extra $1.29. Bring your own cheese when you come. If you come.
A little wait to be seated and for waitress, but not overly long. Menu varied with several atypical options. I ordered the fish tacos. The fish was very lightly breaded with a nice crispness to it as you bit in. The cabbage and cilantro garnish...paired nicely with sour cream. They put peppers and pico de Gallo on the side for me. The side salad of spinach, dried fruit, shaved carrot and pineapple and strawberries had a nice mix of flavor with the balsamic vinaigrette dressing. Staff friendly. I would seek this out again if I have longer lay over like I did todayMore
It’s always nice to stop in to the Silver Diner between flights at BWI. Large menu options and a never ending supply of hot coffee make it an early morning favorite. The classic diner feel and friendly restaurant team always make for an enjoyable visit.
The best food I’ve ever had at an airport. Authentic Maryland style crab cakes and avocado toast for an appetizer. It was bought for 2 people to share one entree. Great service and a welcome place to hanger out waiting for a flight.
We ate at the Silver Diner on our way home from five days in Jamaica. We were excited to get an American meal with some American beers! The food did not disappoint. PROs: - If this was based on the food alone, the rating would...be 5/5. - Initial service was outstanding. We were quickly seated and had drink orders placed. Ordering food went quickly and the food was delivered in a timely manner. CONS: - Overall service was lacking. We were a large group and the server did not do a great job of organizing the ticket as he took orders and there was quite the delay once we had concluded the meal. It was fortunate we were not in a rush to make a connection or things could have been much more stressful. - One of my beers had some floaties in the bottom of the glass which were not noticed until it was too late. - Killed an ant on the table. Never seen that before in a restaurant.More
I think this is about as good as airport food gets. Sat at bar and received friendly and hood service. My Mediterranean salad with grilled chicken was very tasty and of ample size. You can watch sports on the screen if that is your thing.
This is our go to place when we have a layover in BWI. Always good service and great food. We have enjoyed both lunch and breakfast items. The burgers are cooked as requested. The omelets are quite large and tasty. Portions are generally generous. Amanda...B, our server this last time, was on top of things and helpful with out latest selections.More
Much better than average airport food! Every time we make a transfer at the Baltimore International Airport, we make sure to stop off and eat at the Silver Diner. It is designed to look like a traditional Diner that you might go to in your...local neighborhood. Food quality is far above regular airport food quality, comes out hot and fresh, and delicious. The burgers are particularly good. They also don't gouge you with high airport food prices. Special note to our server, Amanda, who is extremely friendly and helpfulMore
The food was average at best. Service was below average, kinda slow and only made one so back at the table after getting our food. For some reason the waitress ripped the suggested tipping section off of the receipts.
I've walked by several times in the past and twice on this trip before deciding to go in. We weren't terribly hungry but the next flight was long and we needed something. The service was fantastic. We decided to split a Huevos Rancheros and to...our delight it was served on two plates, each with a generous portion. Tasty and filling it certainly brought smiles to our faces. A bit pricey but that's what you get for convenience.More
The Silver Diner is apparently the exception to the rule about airport food. They have a limited menu but still manage to have a good variety. The food is still good, if not quite as good as a normal Silver Diner.
We are those people that always arrive with lots of time to spare. Love this place for breakfast with family. The food is great, plentiful and reasonable. The service is impeccable. Will come again and again.
Had an early morning flight and decided to give the diner a try for breakfast. Had a country breakfast at the bar. Friendly and quick service despite the influx of several people. Tasty food for the airport scene. Would recommend.
