Used to be better, but now is just all around bad. There's a memorably rude bartender, and a memorably great one. The food 3 years ago was standout great, but now the rich flavors are gone and it's just overpriced and overrated. Parking in federal hill is ridiculous, and this restaurant just isn't worth this much effort when there are other great choices in town.

Like the place a lot, but need the context that many dishes are the chef's interpretation of regional Mex, rather than actual regional Mex. Still, food and drinks are very good. Definitely need reservations.

I travel through Baltimore regularly, and my homeward routine is to try to find parking at Blue Agave first, then go elsewhere if parking can't be had (which is often) -- or if the homeless dude camped out at the neighboring 7-11 seems agitated.

I am a former reviewer below, Baltimore Member. The last time we ate here, the service was surly. The waiter kept going on and on about a test he had to take the next day, and he was really grumpy. We eventually grabbed the manager and made a friendly but serious request that someone else watch over us, as this was getting way, way old. He said he would take care of it, and never did. The food was still good, but they removed several of the best items from the menu. I found out later that the shop had changed hands. Under the new management, the emphasis certainly is no longer on customer experience.

This is a great place in Federal Hill. Margaritas and food are great. Can be crowded. Food is very good. Been there several times. Will go again on next trip.
